Species Name: Lotus grandiflorus
Common Name: Large-Flowered Lotus

This relative of Deerweed (Lotus scoparius) has larger flowers that are pale yellow and tinged with red. It is short-lived (2-4 yrs), making it an excellent filler for bare spots in the garden between slower growing shrubs.
