The Burnell Yarick Memorial Grove Burnell Yarick was a founding member of the Theodore Payne Foundation, and the Foundation's first President. He served on the board for many years, working diligently to secure a permanent nursery location, then to support the Foundation's growth and mission. A special ceremony at Fall Festival 2003 was held to dedicate a memorial to Burnell, a grove of Engelmann Oaks on Wildflower Hill. Burnell passed away in December of 2002. |
