Wildlife Value: Trees cover from predators and nesting sites for a wide variety of wildlife. Pine trees offer a variety of food sources such as Cones and attracting insects (which songbirds and woodpeckers eat).
 

Description:

Two populations in San Diego County are remnants of tree's earlier geographic spread. By coast, is wind-pruned and picturesque; inland, is open and graceful. A wonderful pine, cultivated in many other parts of the world.
